Position: Field Installation Engineer
Duration: 2-year contract to hire (guarantee to get hired on directly as long as successful within the role)
Pay Rate: $40/hr - a TON of OT opportunity!!!
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Travel: Up to 80% travel across North America, Canada, Mexico
Must Haves:
We are accepting the following type of skillsets:
- Experience installing machines, robots, heavy duty industrial equipment
- OR
- Very skilled in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting with strong Fanuc robot troubleshooting experience with team lead/supervisor experience
-Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints and schematics
-Comfortable with a heavy travel position

Responsibilities:
A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Field Installation Engineer to join their team. The Installation Engineer will be traveling to customer sites to support the installation and troubleshooting of robots in the field. Other responsibilities include taking detailed inventory of the equipment, interfacing with customers and team members, and understanding the reading mechanical prints and schematics to determine the process of installing the robot.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
