- Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN - 3 days in office
- Compensation: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
IT Endpoint Administrator Job Description
The Endpoint Administrator is responsible for the configuration, management, lifecycle, and maintenance of endpoints throughout the organization. This is primarily accomplished through the use and configuration of Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, and Quest Kace Systems Deployment Appliance. Through creating and enforcing policy, automating software deployments, and providing ITSM services, the Endpoint Administrator works to maintain digital workplace standards and security.
What you will do as an IT Endpoint Administrator:
- Support the following systems and technologies: Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Kace Endpoint Systems Deployment Appliance, Windows Update Services, PolicyPak
- Use appropriate tools to create and enforce endpoint policies
- Package software for automated deployment to endpoints
- Perform ITSM tasks as related to endpoints
- Respond to and proactively mitigate vulnerabilities/CVEs and malware
- Test hardware/software for compatibility and performance issues and make recommendations based on findings
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure end-point integration and compatibility with other systems and services
What you will bring to the role as an IT Endpoint Administrator:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent combinations of education and work experience
- 4+ years of professional IT experience
- 2+ years of experience performing endpoint administration
- Hands-on experience with Windows endpoint modern management tools such as Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Windows Autopilot
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows End-User Operating Systems
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or Azure AD Connect
- Strong interest in refining methodologies and processes to achieve the highest level of efficiency and accuracy
