For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPEThe Lab Technician is a safety sensitive position and will collect the samples and test pit run gravel and processed aggregates. The duties will also include measuring distances, gravel pits, and stockpile volumes. PRIMARY DUTIESTravel to remote locations to collect and test pits, run gravel, and processed aggregatesCommunicate with the plant foreman regarding material specificationsAssist plant foreman with equipment modifications to produce material within project requirementsCommunicate with prime contractors and project engineers on gravel specificationsMeasure quantities of materials producedMeasure and map new and existing gravel sourcesProspect for new gravel sourcesAssist the crews with setup and tearing down portable plantsComply with company's safety standards and policiesPerform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License, CDL preferredTeam player with good work ethicExcellent communication skillsExcellent math skillsRequire extensive overnight travel Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
