🛠️ Maintenance Engineer – 90 Day Contract to Permanent Hire
📍 Location: Spartanburg, SC 29301
🕒 Shift: Day (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Mon–Fri)

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our operations in Spartanburg. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with full
benefits starting Day 1 upon permanent hire. You’ll work in a hands-on, industrial environment where every day brings a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols
• Use hand and power tools to maintain and repair equipment
• Operate micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools
• Perform a variety of non-repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

Must-Have Skills
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Experience in equipment repair
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
• Familiarity with the metric measuring system

• Mechanical experience as a:
• Maintenance Technician
• Maintenance Mechanic
• Building Maintenance Mechanic

🏭 Work Environment
• Industrial, blue-collar setting
• Non-climate-controlled (heated in winter, no A/C in summer)
• Heavy equipment and overhead cranes in use
• Small team (10–15 people)

💰 Compensation
• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00/hour
• Overtime: 1.5x pay
• Hours: 40–60 hours/week depending on demand

🤝 Interview Process
• On-site interview with Shop Supervisor (Joao) and Plant Manager (Klaus)
• Includes a floor tour – wear pants, work shoes, and a collared shirt
• Duration: 30–45 minutes
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
