We’re looking for a dedicated special education teacher to work full-time from August 2026 through June 2027 in a supportive school environment near Bedford, NH. You’ll connect with students in both second and fifth grades across two close-knit school locations, serving as a crucial teaching and case management resource for approximately 15 students. This is a contract opportunity that runs Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Valid state certification in Special Education or eligibility to obtain NH certification
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; master’s preferred
Experience working with elementary students, particularly in 2nd and 5th grades, strongly desired
Strong skills in instructional adaptation, differentiated learning, and IEP development
Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration abilities

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver specially designed instruction to individual and small groups, tailored to students’ IEP goals
Serve as primary case manager for a dedicated group of approximately 15 students
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to develop and monitor IEPs
Implement classroom management strategies and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Provide regular progress updates and advocate for student needs across two school locations
