Position Purpose Summary
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the SharePoint & Power Platform Administrator holds a pivotal position within IREX, responsible for the technical management, optimization, and integration of IREX’s IT infrastructure. This individual will design, implement, and manage IREX’s SharePoint Online architecture to support collaboration, content management, and document retention policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage IREX’s SharePoint Online architecture
- Build and maintain IREX’s SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists
- Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline manual processes and improve cross-team efficiency
- Collaborate with departments to understand their operational needs and create practical SharePoint-based solutions
- Act as a resource for staff with questions about SharePoint functionality and usage, offering training and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online in a mid- to large-sized organization
- Demonstrated experience building and managing Power Automate workflows
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions models, content types, versioning, and search configuration
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams integration and OneDrive for Business within the M365 ecosystem
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Power Apps applications (Canvas or Model-Driven) to support business processes and usability
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience working in a global or nonprofit organization with distributed teams

The salary range for this role is $98,000 to $102,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
Please note: While we aim to offer competitive compensation, not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
We conduct background checks on all successful candidates.
This role requires regular onsite work. The selected candidate must be a full-time Washington DC-based employee, working a hybrid schedule from the DC office at least 2-3 days per week.
