Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp Assistant Property Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Foster positive relationships with shareholders, unit owners, and residents through professional communication
  • Resolve resident concerns and service requests promptly while escalating urgent matters to leadership when necessary
  • Coordinate community projects and large-scale communications, including meeting logistics and resident mailings
  • Maintain and update resident records such as emergency contacts, phone directories, and ownership databases
  • Facilitate clear communication between residents, building staff, and management teams
  • Respond to and follow up on inquiries from residents and vendors via phone and email
  • Organize property documentation, databases, and records for operational and compliance purposes
  • Assist with invoice processing, payment requests, and vendor-related inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable
  • Arrange meetings, reserve facilities, and coordinate conference call logistics for board members and management
  • Maintain property records such as meeting minutes, leases, bylaws, financial documents, and tax-related materials


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience in property management or customer service/hospitality industries
  • Knowledge of NYC real estate and cooperative/condominium environments preferred
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage time in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative, team-based environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interest in learning building systems and advancing in the field of property management; certifications in progress or completed are a plus
