Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a full-time, full-year role close to Goldsboro, NC. Immediate opportunities are available for passionate professionals—multiple positions are open, and preferences for caseload can be discussed to align with your strengths and interests. Recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) and travel professionals are encouraged to apply. This is an in-person role; virtual or Voco options are not available due to budget constraints.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
- Qualifications for recent graduates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as experienced SLPs
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with school-aged populations is highly valued, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure students’ academic success and personal growth
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
