Who We’re Looking For

PIRTEK Burnsville is hiring for a Hydraulic Hose Service Technician to service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses for a diverse customer base in varying environmental conditions. This is a messy job that requires manual labor and on-call hours (on-call with incentive pay), so dedication and grit is essential.

We are looking for highly driven and self-sufficient individuals with excellent communication and customer service skills. Our most successful Technicians:

Hydraulic and industrial hose experience is NOT required! Each Technician is provided training on industry knowledge, PIRTEK processes, safety standards, and how to operate your purpose-built mobile service unit. PIRTEK also provides ongoing support through a 24/7 hotline for Technicians to ask technical questions.

Responsibilities

· Adhere to all industry and PIRTEK safety standards

· Carry out service calls & sales visits in your local area

· Identify faulty hoses and/ or hose assemblies to service the customers’ needs

· Remove worn or broken hoses before fabricating and installing the new replacement

· Ensure oil spills/ environmental contaminants, due to hose failure and/ or repair, are cleaned or contained to the customer’s satisfaction (as well as federal, state, and local regulations)

· Input service details into the online database to create accurate invoices

· Develop relationships with new and existing customers

· Maintain mobile service unit, tools, and equipment

· Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on-site and conducting frequent follow-up visits

· Participate in the rotating On-Call schedule (with increased incentive pay)

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High School diploma or GED

· Driver’s License with clean driving record

· Experience in industrial development & construction, automobile/ marine/ field mechanics, or a related industry is a plus

· Ability to pass a background check
