Location: Portofino Resort

Department: Tennis

Status: Seasonal

Pay Rate: $14.00

Hours/Days: 7:30 am - Noon, 4 pm - 8 pm.


I. Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:

To assist the Director of Tennis in fulfilling all the tennis needs of the guests and owners of Portofino Island.

II. Key Principal duties/responsibilities (5-8):

  • Make court reservations
  • Sign up owners/guests for Private lessons
  • Sign up owners/guests for Clinics
  • Charge owners/guests for tennis services
  • Answers questions of guests/owners by phone and in person
  • Assist with Matching Service
  • Retail sales of clothing, equipment, and beverages
  • Marketing Tennis Packages


Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:

· Assist with Socials and Tournaments

· Tennis Court Maintenance

· Assist with Special Events around the property

Experience in teaching tennis, tennis retail, or playing tennis.

Valid Florida Driver’s License

Personal Computer, printer, calculator, and standard office equipment and machines as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
