About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Implementation Specialist with a passion for product growth and user experience strategy. In this hybrid role, youll lead customers through onboarding and implementation of the Userpilot platform while advising on in-app engagement tactics that drive activation, adoption, and retention.
Youll work closely with customers to understand their goals, configure our solutions, and guide the design of effective user journeys using in-app content such as tooltips, modals, and onboarding flows. This is a hands-on role that blends platform implementation with strategic product guidance to ensure customers quickly realize value from our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Implementations: Own the customer onboarding journey by developing tailored implementation plans and configuring the Userpilot platform based on customer needs.
- Drive Product Success: Consult with customers on UX strategies and product-led growth tactics to maximize engagement, adoption, and retention.
- In-App Experience Guidance: Help define key user touchpoints and recommend in-app content strategies (e.g., onboarding flows, NPS, feature announcements).
- Customer Training & Enablement: Provide training and resources to empower customers to leverage the platform independently and effectively.
- Analytics & Insights: Guide customers on setting up tracking, defining KPIs, and measuring user behavior to validate engagement strategies.
- Collaboration & Feedback: Partner with customer teams (Product, Success, Engineering) to surface insights and help shape product improvements.
- Playbook Development: Contribute to scalable frameworks, templates, and best practices for repeatable customer success.
What Were Looking For
- 24 years of experience in software implementation, product growth/marketing, customer onboarding, customer success, or consulting.
- 1+ year of experience with product growth and marketing strategy.
- Knowledge of user journey design, onboarding best practices, and product-led growth principles.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for learning software as an end-user
Bonus Points For
- Background in UX research, product design, or product analytics.
- Experience with Userpilot or other in-app engagement platforms
- Understanding of basic web dev principle and software integration
