Senior Helpers of Waxhaw & Monroe is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers—including Companion Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs—to support seniors in Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Rowan counties. We match your experience and strengths with clients who will benefit most from your care.
This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to helping others, value meaningful work, and are interested in professional growth within a supportive organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Participate in client preferred activities (e.g., gardening, games, crafts)
- Prepare meals and support light household tasks
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ physical or cognitive condition
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Ability to pass a background check
