Job Summary:
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the organization's interior and exterior maintenance needs. General needs include upholding cleanliness standards, upkeep and repair of amenities to ensure safety and operational effectiveness. This is a full-time position requires periodical standing, bending and lifting for at least 10 hours a day.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill general maintenance requests quickly and efficiently
- Daily tasks such as emptying trash and cleaning restrooms
- Change lightbulbs, as needed
- Clean and replace HVAC filters
- Use hand tools, power tools and other equipment
- Maintain exterior of building by cleaning windows, picking up trash and other tasks
- Knowledge or plumbing, electrical and general construction a plus
- Take inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed
- Inspect finished products for defects and issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
