Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-Time

  • Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

  • Base Pay: $28.00 – $50.00/hour

  • Night Shift Differential: +$6.00/hour for the entire shift

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week

  • Weekend and holiday rotation required (typically 1–2 weekend days per month)

Responsibilities

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients across all age groups.

  • Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical respiratory procedures.

  • Administer:

    • Oxygen therapy

    • Therapeutic respiratory treatments

    • Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection and analysis

    • Ventilator management

    • Airway management

  • Deliver respiratory support from emergency intervention through recovery.

  • Perform respiratory procedures in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

  • Maintain competency in all assigned respiratory care modalities.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

  • Document treatments and patient responses accurately and thoroughly.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.

  • Bachelor's Degree required only for candidates performing Technical Consultant duties.

Certifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required based on patient population or specialty

Licensure

  • Active Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist License required.
