Compensation & Schedule

Full-Time

Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Base Pay: $28.00 – $50.00/hour

Night Shift Differential: +$6.00/hour for the entire shift

Three 12-hour shifts per week
-
Weekend and holiday rotation required (typically 1–2 weekend days per month)

Responsibilities
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:
-
Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients across all age groups.
-
Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical respiratory procedures.
-
Administer:
-
Oxygen therapy
-
Therapeutic respiratory treatments
-
Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection and analysis
-
Ventilator management
-
Airway management
-
Deliver respiratory support from emergency intervention through recovery.
-
Perform respiratory procedures in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Maintain competency in all assigned respiratory care modalities.
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Document treatments and patient responses accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications
Education
-
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
-
Bachelor's Degree required only for candidates performing Technical Consultant duties.
Certifications
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
-
Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required based on patient population or specialty
Licensure
-
Active Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist License required.
