Scope of Work:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a working Site Lead responsible for the safe, efficient operation of equipment within assigned specialty. Acts as Site Supervisor, directly overseeing three (3) or more personnel. Ensures effective coordination, scheduling, and daily execution of assigned work.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor production of work to ensure timely and quality completion
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- Provide emergency notification to appropriate supervisory personnel as required
- Install, repair, and adjust indicating, recording, telemetering, and control instruments
- Measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, and force using hand tools and precision instruments
- Diagnose equipment issues within and outside of control systems
- Disassemble malfunctioning instruments and test mechanisms and circuitry to identify defects
- Repair or replace defective components to restore system functionality
- Adjust and repair final control devices, including automated valves and positioners
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Journeyman’s license required
- Control systems certification required
- Experience overseeing multi-trade teams and work order systems (e.g., CMMS/Maximo) in a government or Base Operations Support contract environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must hold and maintain a Tier5background check(Top Secret / SCI Clearance),as required for the position.
- Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include but is not limited to a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and a 5-panel drug test, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
