Job DescriptionPOSITION:&nbsp; Roll Operator LOCATION:&nbsp; Zelienople, PA PAY: Starting at $18/hr TYPE: Temp to hire SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:15 PM Benefits After Probation: UPMC Medical (70% paid), Dental, Vision, Life &amp; Disability, 401k with match, 8 paid holidays + holiday bonuses Job Duties • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Load steel plate using lifting clamps, chains, and overhead crane • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Operate the roll machine using the control panel to flatten or shape steel • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Monitor product quality, shape, and flatness throughout the process • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Perform basic inspections and measurements • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain a clean, organized work area • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Follow all safety protocols • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Perform preventative maintenance as needed &nbsp; Qualifications • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; High school diploma required • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 1+ year experience in a steel service center preferred • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ability to perform basic math and inspection tasks • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Familiarity with roll machines and related equipment • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ability to program and operate the roll machine &nbsp; Great first shift opportunity with a stable, growing team.
