We are currently searching for an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to join our team of hardworking and dedicated employees.

Experience/Requirements:

• 5 yrs. of experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman
• Must be able to operate a paver, roller, skid steer, shuttle buggy, rubber-tire backhoe, etc.
• Must have a minimum of 5 yr. experience in the road or construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather
• Dependable transportation is required.
• High school diploma or GED.

Job Duties: Ensure the safety of other employees and the public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and procedures

• Measure all projects and track yield each day.
• Order asphalt from the plant.
• Pave a high-quality product each day.
• Manage a crew of operators and skilled craftsmen.
• Make sure daily productions are met.
• Operate equipment proficiently and safely.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Performing other duties on the jobsite when not operating equipment
• Quality, Line, and Grade recognition
• We have a lot of work in the Baton Rouge metro area and surrounding parishes. We sometimes work nights. We work a few weekends.
