Architect / Architectural Designer – Architecture & Project Management (Hybrid Role)

Long Island, NY (In-Office / Hybrid Considered)
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000, with potential for growth based on experience and qualifications

Jared Mandel Architect PC is a residential architecture firm specializing in high-end custom homes and renovations. Our practice is hands-on and highly involved throughout construction, offering architectural administration and project management services to ensure projects are executed with clarity, quality, and intent.

We are seeking a junior to early mid-level Architect or Architectural Designer for a hybrid role that combines architectural design, construction documentation, and exposure to project management. This position offers a clear growth path into a senior-level and formal Project Manager role within the firm.

Role Overview

This is not a drafting-only position. The role blends:

Architectural design and construction documentation
Exposure to construction-phase services
Client-facing coordination support
Increasing involvement in project management over time

You will work directly with firm leadership and gain hands-on experience in both design and project execution. As skills and confidence develop, responsibilities will expand into greater project oversight and leadership.
