Description: OtterBase is seeking passionate customer service professionals to join our team! The Healthcare Concierge position was developed to take non-clinical burden off nurses and enable a patient to control their stay. As part of our team working inside the hospital, you’ll respond to non-medical requests from patients and nurses sent right to your phone via our app.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with nurses and staff
- Provide excellent customer service to patients from admission to discharge
- Assist in a variety of tasks and services that elevate patient experience and preserve a productive atmosphere for nurses
- Deliver requested medical items, equipment, and supplies to nurse teams
- Deliver requested food, beverage, and non-medical items to patients
- Experience a promising opportunity for career growth within a collective team environment
The ideal candidate has:
- A strong desire to build a career within the healthcare field
- Experience in customer service or customer-facing roles
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying tasks throughout the day
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once
- Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to walk 15,000+ steps per day in a fast paced environment.
