About the Role:
The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Chateau Recovery Center operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the facility, which directly impacts the quality of care provided to our clients. The technician will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. By addressing maintenance issues promptly, the technician helps create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and clients. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall mission of the center by supporting a healthy and functional environment conducive to recovery and well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in facility maintenance or a related trade.
- Experience working in a healthcare or social assistance environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient using Google Suite
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility equipment.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year round.
Must be able to work on-call at times and be available some weekend and holidays
