RedMatter Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for System Security to oversee the cybersecurity posture of complex, highly available systems integrated with business-critical services.

The candidate will:

• Manage and verify compliance with all cybersecurity policies for onsite systems.
• Identify system security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee and manage POA&Ms (Plan of Action and Milestones), including reviewing, validating information, and creating impact statements and mitigations.
• Conduct analysis of systems across the network, ensuring implemented security measures meet all required controls.
• Document non-compliant controls and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to manage risk.
• Maintain up-to-date security compliance attributes and verify cybersecurity requirements at each stage of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Perform initial cost assessments related to security risks.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on cybersecurity
• 7+ years of experience in Application Security
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Other Security Certification(s) strongly desired (e.g., Security+, CASP, CCISO, CISM, CISSP, CAP)
• Strong technical understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks, including directives and policies from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
• Experience managing system security documentation such as boundary definitions, ALs, and inherited control sets
• Proven ability to work independently on complex system security matters
• Ability to perform complex technical tasks with minimal oversight
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology systems and services, Identity and Access Management (ICAM), and AWS GovCloud
• Must obtain and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) Tier 4/6c security clearance
• Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
