You Are:

• A technically inclined individual with a strong understanding of low-voltage systems and lighting controls who enjoys problem-solving and delivering clean, professional work. You want to be in the field, hands on.

You Have:

• Experience with the installation, programming, maintenance, and servicing of Lutron lighting control systems across high-end residential and commercial projects. (Ideally Lutron but you may come from installing versions from Crestron or C4)
• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Schedule:

• Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week
• Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)

Your Contribution to AVS:Installation & Commissioning

• Install, wire, and commission Lutron panelized lighting systems (HomeWorks QS, QSX, RadioRA 3, & RA2 Select)
• Terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
• Mount and install devices such as keypads, dimmers, sensors, & processor panels per engineered drawings.
• Interpret and follow lighting control designs & wiring schematics

Service & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair field-related issues, wiring faults, or device failures with minimal supervision.
• Perform system upgrades, software updates, & field modifications as needed throughout a project's lifecycle.
• Respond to service calls, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure ongoing system performance and reliability.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with AVS project managers, field engineers, electricians, designers, and general contractors to maintain jobsite coordination and workflow.
• Maintain up-to-date field documentation, installation logs, and service records.
• Ensure every installation aligns with AVS’s high standards and Lutron's best practices for performance, safety, and aesthetics.

Client Training & Handoff

• Conduct client walk-throughs and provide user training to ensure clients are confident and satisfied with their new lighting control system.
• Deliver a polished, clean hand-off process that includes full system functionality testing and client education.

AVS' Contribution to You:

• $75k to $95k per Year – Yup!
