Position Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager supports the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB by leading the Industrial Depot Maintenance (IDM) Cybersecurity RMF project. This role manages project scope, schedules, resources, and deliverables while directing the project team. The Senior IT Project Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution activities supporting the full RMF lifecycle—including assessment, authorization, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability remediation—across 2,000+ servers, 250+ applications, and multiple enclaves, ensuring alignment with mission needs, security requirements, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the IDM RMF project, including assessment, remediation, documentation, and authorization activities.
- Direct and coordinate the work of the projectteam.
- Develop project scope, schedules, staffing plans, communication plans, and work assignments.
- Ensure RMF execution aligns with cybersecurity compliance, hosting sustainment, modernization, and production operational support requirements.
- Oversee continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.
- Track project performance, risks, dependencies, and schedule adherence.
- Provide project updates, milestone reporting, andinputsfor the Monthly Status Report.
- Support CPM responsibilities andparticipatein required Government meetings.
- Ensure RMF documentation, artifacts, and evidence areaccurate, complete, andaudit‑ready.
- Clearly and effectively communicate withCPM,SMEs, teams, functional leads, and Government stakeholders.
- Oversee or mentor less senior cybersecurity project staff asrequired.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, orrelated field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or technical project coordination.
- Experience leadingIT infrastructure, modernization, or data center projects.
- Experience managingcross‑functionaltechnical teams in enterprise IT environments.
- Understanding ofAgile project management methodologies.
- Advanced computer skills and understanding of operating systems, network administration, and service desk operations.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and documentation related to IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Active Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenshiprequired.
Required Certifications (only one required)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – Scrum Alliance
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM) – Scrum.org
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RMF, cybersecurity compliance, or continuous monitoring programs.
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.
- Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity or federal IT programs.
Working Conditions / Environment / Physical Demands
- Position is performed on site at Hill AFB, Utah, in a secure professional environment.
- Standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Core duty hours: Monday–Friday, 0600–1800 MST.
- Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including prolonged periods of sitting and screen time.
- Requires independent work with minimal supervision, as well as collaboration withcross‑functionalteams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders.
- Occasional travel may berequiredfor customer meetings, training, or program reviews.
