Our community health center is seeking a Pulmonologist to become a member of our staff providing high-quality, patient-centered care for patients. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with an emphasis on high-quality clinical care, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Must be able to manage complex or multi-system conditions, and have experience with critical care management, including ventilator support.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Serve as Medical Director for Pulmonology Services including respiratory therapy, pulmonary function tests and Sleep Lab
  • \n

  • Provide consultation and referral services to CHCSs Clinic providers for Pulmonology services for patients
  • \n

  • Manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions in inpatient and outpatient setting
  • \n

  • Five (5) days a week splitting time between Onaga, Holton and St. Marys Clinic
  • \n

Qualifications & Skills

\n

    \n
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • \n

  • Completion of Internal Medicine Residency program
  • \n

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Educations (ACCME) in Pulmonology
  • \n

  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine
  • \n

  • BE or BC in Pulmonary Medicine
  • \n

  • Valid medical license to practice in State of Kansas
  • \n

  • Commitment to compassionate, accessible care for underserved rural populations
