Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems within a fully automated fulfillment services environment. This role requires a liaison for internal and external resources and entails being on-call as needed. Strong project management and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair 3 phase motors, 480v systems.
- Work with integrated systems and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, both old and new models.
- Maintain and repair high-speed automated sorting machines, VFDs, photo eyes, sensors, robotic equipment, and gantry cranes.
- Manage and maintain 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, and 12 cranes.
- Conduct PLC PM programs and update computer statuses using TMI Systems software.
- Ensure comfort in working at heights.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- Experience with conveyor maintenance.
- Proficient in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting skills, including PLC control and sensors.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution equipment.
- HS Diploma required.
- Associate’s degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with at least 2 years of maintenance experience, or at least 4 years of maintenance experience in relevant environments.
- Knowledge of industrial electricity, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors.

Work Environment
Work in a warehouse and distribution center environment with a team of 38 multi-craft technicians at various levels. Embrace a team player culture where collaboration and communication are key. The position requires wearing steel-toe boots, jeans, and a plain shirt. The current need is for the third shift from 11 pm to 7 am, Friday through Monday, within a culture that values quality and reliability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JUPITER, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
