Job DescriptionMaintenance TechnicianLocation: Howell, MI Shift: 3rd Pay: Up to $33/hr Job SummaryAre you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to join a global leader in manufacturing? We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Howell, MI. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our production running smoothly by performing hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on CNC machines and other critical equipment.What You'll Be DoingAs a Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Maintain production equipment and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance & Repairs: Perform troubleshooting, installation, and repair of CNC machines, robotics, and related systems.
- Safety Compliance: Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when performing maintenance on machines.
In addition, you will assist with PLC programming or repair as needed and support other facility maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:
- CNC machine maintenance experience required
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of determining dimensions and tolerances
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience preferred; overhead crane experience a huge plus
Skills:
- Problem-Solving: Quickly troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with CNC machines, robotics, and PLC systems.
