Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Rotating schedule (days will differ) every 2 weeks / must be availabe 7 days per week / 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm

Weekend: Every other weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5:30pm

Certificate: Pharmacist PA State License and Doctor of Pharmacy degree
\n
\n
Weekly Travel Pay Package (resides out of 50+ miles) (40hrs)
\n
Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,245.90
\n
Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,515.20
\n
Weekly Gross $2,761.10
\n
\n
Overtime Pay: $90.00/Hr
\n
\n
Local Pay: $69.02/Hr on W2

Job Description:

\n
1st Shift: Rotating schedule (days will differ) every 2 weeks / must be availabe 7 days per week / 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm / every other weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5:30pm / 2 holidays per year
\n
\n
- Accept and dispense prescription medications.
\n
- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
\n
- Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
\n
- Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
\n
- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
\n
- Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
\n
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
\n
- Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
\n
- Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters.
\n
- Compound medications for external or internal use. Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
\n
- Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
\n
- Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
\n
- Identify patient?s drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
\n
- Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
\n
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
\n
- Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
