Maintenance Technician – Ice Cream Manufacturing Facility (Riviera Beach, FL) 2nd shiftWe’re hiring a fulltime Maintenance Technician to support our ice cream production plant in Riviera Beach. This is a handson, onthe-floor role responsible for keeping equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. If you take pride in solving problems, staying ahead of breakdowns, and owning your work, you’ll fit right in.What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (freezers, pumps, compressors, conveyors, refrigeration systems, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues during production
• Support startups, shutdowns, and changeovers to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot freon refrigeration systems (experience preferred) We use a 3rd party for most of this.
• Diagnose issues with motors, gearboxes, valves, sensors, and control panels
• Complete work orders, logs, and documentation accurately and on time
• Assist with facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, building systems)
• Work closely with production to ensure safe, smooth, and consistent operations
• Participate in oncall rotation for after-hours emergencies

What This Role Requires

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a food, beverage, dairy, or coldstorage environment is a plus
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable working in cold environments (freezers, refrigerated rooms)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, platforms, and tight spaces
• A mindset of ownership, accountability, and zero excuses
• Reliability — showing up on time, prepared, and ready to work
• Willingness to work some weekends or extended hours when needed
