🚨 Insurance Coverage Associate or Of Counsel | New York / New Jersey (Hybrid 3 days in) – $150k–$225k

Location/Schedule: New York / New Jersey (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Base Salary: $150k–$225k (depending on experience, plus performance incentives)

Practice: Insurance Coverage – Complex coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, reinsurance, and high-exposure insurance disputes for insurers and self-insured corporations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
• Prosecute and defend declaratory judgment actions, bad faith claims, and reinsurance disputes.
• Manage coverage litigation involving general liability, professional liability, property, and excess/umbrella policies.
• Advise insurers and self-insured clients on claims handling, policy interpretation, and risk management strategies.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active bar admission in NY and/or NJ.
• 4–10+ years of insurance coverage or related insurance defense experience with strong analytical and writing skills.
• Of Counsel candidates with portable business are highly encouraged to apply.
