Job Title: Light Duty Mobile Service Technician (Mobile Service Specialist)
This role is a full time union position.
Job Summary
The Light Duty Mobile Service Technician is responsible for performing on-site maintenance and minor repairs on light-duty vehicles at customer locations.
This role focuses on delivering convenient, high-quality service while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailing and vehicle presentation

Perform light vehicle detailing services on-site, including: buffing /polishing , use of clay bars

Travel to customer locations to perform mobile automotive services

Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid checks

Perform light repairs such as brake service, filter replacements, wiper installation, and minor diagnostics

Inspect vehicles and identify potential issues or safety concerns

Use diagnostic tools and service software to document work and track service history

Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle condition, recommended services, and timelines
- Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Automotive technical training or certifications preferred (e.g., ASE certifications are a plus)

1–3 years of automotive service experience (light-duty vehicles preferred)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, or service software
