Position Information:

Essential Functions

Perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concept of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development.
Perform high-level system design.
Specifying system/component performance and interface requirements.
Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.
Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts.
Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.
Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (computer science, mathematics, or physics) and 10years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR a Doctoral degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with Polygraph clearance is required.

Desired Knowledge/Skills 

Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
Hands-on experience with requirements analysis, design, testing, and validation.
Strong background in OS (Windows/Linux), networking protocols, and database management.
Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization tools.
Ability to automate tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
