Start Date: Immediate
W-2 Consultant Rate: $70 – $95/hr.

CMCOM is expanding its project controls practice with key roles supporting Port Authority capital programs.

Position Overview

CMCOM is seeking a Project Delivery Senior Analyst / Project Controls Specialist to work for CMCOM in support of a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Project Management Office (PMO) assignment.

This position supports active capital programs and is responsible for project plan analysis, cost and schedule controls, performance reporting, and capital planning support across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Project Controls & Analysis

  • Provide project plan trend analysis and control, including analysis, research, development, and maintenance of project data
  • Perform cost and schedule analysis to monitor performance against approved plans
  • Track project cost, schedule, and performance metrics and prepare monthly and annual analysis reports

Program & Reporting Support

  • Serve as PMO point of contact supporting Project Authorization, Planning Authorization, and Contract Authorization data in ICMS (Integrated Contract Management System)
  • Develop and maintain capital project milestone datasets to support on-time delivery
  • Compile recurring PMO reports, including:
    • Budget and contract reports
    • Training reports
    • Vacation and sick leave reports
  • Update Stage of Good Repair (SGR) scores in ICMS

Data Management & Coordination

  • Maintain crosswalk and milestone reports
  • Maintain Bid and Contract Award information in SharePoint
  • Work with project managers, analysts, and PMO leadership to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
    OR
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with a technical degree

Experience

  • 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience as a Senior Analyst or Project Controls professional

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel reporting
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Ability to become proficient with Port Authority systems and reporting platforms

  • Effective interpersonal and group communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within teams
