A retail/outpatient pharmacy located near a medical building in Bridgeport, West Virginia, is seeking a full-time pharmacist to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia (approximately 1 hour from Grafton, WV)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
- Provide thorough and clear patient counseling regarding medications
- Support the day-to-day operations of the retail/outpatient pharmacy setting
- Ensure strict compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient health outcomes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist license in West Virginia in good standing
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy preferred
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Interest in securing a long-term, permanent role within the pharmacy practice
- Ability to work a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule
