Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Kanza Mental Health and Behavioral Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to promote trauma recovery and strengthen resilience.

  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that encourage emotional processing and skill development in coping strategies.

  • Working in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • \n

  • Providing crisis intervention services as needed, aiding clients during acute trauma-related emergencies.

  • Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for their continued support.

  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals grappling with the lasting effects of trauma. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
