We are currently seeking a Diesel Service Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul emergency vehicles including ambulances and fire apparatus.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair emergency vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic and annual testing.
- Identify parts and supplies needed for repair, coordinating needs with FSI parts departments.
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
- Documentation of provided service steps performed to complete diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Demonstrate and provide quality customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
- EVT, ASE, Cummins experience preferred.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
