Position Overview
We are seeking dependable, hard-working, and motivated Landscape Construction Laborers to join our field team. In this role, you will work on hands-on residential construction projects. You’ll be operating basic tools, moving materials, and helping build custom outdoor spaces from the ground up. Prior experience in landscape construction or hardscaping is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates who possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities

Hardscape Installation: Assist with digging, grading, and installing pavers, patio stones, retaining walls, flagstone, and outdoor fire pits.

Softscape & Planting: Plant trees, shrubs, perennials, and lay sod; spread topsoil, mulch, bark, and gravel.

Irrigation & Drainage: Help trench, lay pipe, install sprinkler heads, and construct basic drainage systems.

Site Preparation & Cleanup: Excavate dirt, clear debris, dig trenches, and keep job sites clean, organized, and safe daily.

Equipment & Tool Operation: Safely operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, tampers) and power equipment (wheelbarrows, plate compactors, masonry saws, trenchers).

Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy landscaping materials across residential properties.

Teamwork: Work closely with the Crew Leader and teammates to complete projects on schedule and according to specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Capability: Ability to perform heavy physical labor in outdoor conditions (lifting up to 50–80 lbs regularly, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended hours).

Weather Resilience: Willingness to work outdoors in varying Utah weather conditions (heat, dust, cold).

Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and reliable transportation to job sites or the shop.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in residential landscape construction, hardscaping, or general construction preferred (will train the right candidate).

Safety Mindset: Commitment to following safety guidelines and operating tools/equipment responsibly.

Driver's License: Valid Utah Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred (required for drivers).
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays during peak season)
