Indrotec is seeking a skilled Weekend CNC Machinist with a primary focus on large horizontal mills to support our growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who takes pride in precision workmanship, problem-solving, and producing high-quality components in a modern manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and large horizontal milling machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret customer-supplied blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and job processing travelers
- Program and edit CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Edit and troubleshoot G-code and M-code programs at the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functionality and production efficiency
- Perform in-process inspections and final inspections to ensure parts meet company and customer quality standards
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance
- Collaborate with team members to resolve machining and production issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar manufacturing role
- Strong experience operating and programming CNC mills and lathes
- Experience working with large horizontal mills preferred
- Proficiency editing G-code and M-code programs
- Experience with CAD/CAM programming software
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
- Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
