Job Description

placeM!NT is recruiting for a physician-led medical spa and wellness center in the Bridgeport / Portland area, offering advanced aesthetic treatments in a professional, welcoming environment.

We’re hiring for a full-time Esthetician to join the clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who loves combining visible skin results with a genuinely caring client experience, and who is comfortable working in a fast-moving medical spa setting with clear standards and protocols.

  • Schedule: Full-time, typically Tuesday–Saturday, with at least two evenings per week and most Saturdays.
  • Compensation: Base pay $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips and performance bonuses based on your average service revenue per client and product sales. Full-time Estheticians who meet performance expectations typically earn an additional $600–$800 per month in bonuses, depending on results.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Services & Treatments

  • Perform advanced facial and skincare treatments, including custom facials, extractions, light–medium chemical peels, dermaplaning, and basic device-based facial treatments (e.g., microdermabrasion or similar).
  • Conduct thorough consultations, including skin analysis, treatment planning, and clear pre- and post-care education.
  • Follow all treatment protocols, safety guidelines, and medical directives, and document services accurately and on time.

Client experience & education

  • Create a warm, professional, confidence-building experience for every client.
  • Explain treatment plans and realistic outcomes in clear, everyday language.
  • Educate clients on home-care routines and products that support their goals.
  • Encourage appropriate rebooking and product purchases in a consultative, non-pushy way.

Sanitation, safety & standards

  • Maintain excellent sanitation and infection control at all times, including proper disinfection/sterilization of tools and equipment and full room reset between clients.
  • Comply with all state board regulations, OSHA standards, and internal policies.

Teamwork & operations

  • Partner closely with front desk and providers to keep the day running smoothly and on time.
  • Support occasional events or promotions (e.g., educational events, member nights).
  • Contribute to opening/closing tasks and general treatment area upkeep.

Performance & results

  • Work toward clear, realistic goals related to average service revenue per client, product sales, and rebooking/retention, while keeping the client’s best interest first.
  • Bring a professional, solutions-focused mindset to the team every day.

  • Professional, kind, and reliable communication with clients and teammates.
  • Comfort working in an environment where part of your compensation is tied to service and product performance (average service revenue per client and product sales), while keeping your approach client-centered and non-pushy.
