Arborist

Pierre Landscape, a Southern California leader in commercial landscape construction and maintenance, is seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the health and safety of trees and plants across our projects, ensuring work meets the highest standards of plant care, safety, and compliance.
We’re looking for a hands-on professional with arboriculture expertise who can assess tree health, oversee pruning, guide crews, and ensure proper horticultural practices are followed on every project. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, clients, and field teams to deliver outstanding results—safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Tree & Plant Health: Assess and maintain tree health, identify structural concerns, pests, or disease, and recommend corrective actions.

Arboriculture Oversight: Perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services following industry best practices.

Site Evaluation: Conduct regular site walks to monitor tree and plant health, irrigation efficiency, and work quality.

Crew Guidance: Coach field teams on safe tree work, proper pruning techniques, and general plant care standards.

Safety Leadership: Champion workplace safety by enforcing company and OSHA standards and performing jobsite safety walks.

Project Support: Assist Project Managers with planning, site logistics, and coordination of specialized tree care services.

Documentation: Track tree maintenance, treatment logs, and site progress reports.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements to strengthen tree care and maintenance standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Certified Arborist and/or strong horticultural experience required

Proven field or crew leadership experience in arboriculture, landscape maintenance, or related field

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Knowledge of pruning standards, plant/tree health diagnostics, and irrigation systems

Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently

Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + annually, based on experience

Bonus: Performance-based bonus program
