Key Skills & Preferred Background:
- Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings or with pediatric populations
- Background in teletherapy is valued
- New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student goals
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and regularly update case files
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ learning and well-being
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
