Key Skills & Preferred Background:

  • Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP settings or with pediatric populations
  • Background in teletherapy is valued
  • New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and regularly update case files
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ learning and well-being
  • Provide guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding communication strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
