AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN / COMBO MAN (PAINT & BODY)
$55,000 – $85,000+ Annually | Based on Experience & Skill Level
(Equates to roughly $26 – $41 per hour)
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician / Combo Man capable of handling both body and paint repair work to join a busy collision repair facility. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with a team to deliver quality repairs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform collision repair tasks including panel straightening, dent repair, body alignment, and frame work

Prep, mask, and paint vehicles to specification, matching colors and finishes

Repair and replace damaged body components (fenders, doors, bumpers, etc.)

Sand, buff, and finish surfaces for quality appearance and durability

Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet shop and industry standards

Work collaboratively with estimators, detailers, and service teams to deliver timely repairs

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all safety, paint, and chemical handling protocols
REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or Combo Man

Strong knowledge of body repair, refinishing, and paint processes

Ability to read repair orders and understand technical specifications

Familiarity with tools and equipment used in collision repair and painting

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Valid driver’s license
