CNC Machinist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role requires capability of performing complete machine setups, changeovers, tool offsets, and first-piece inspections while producing high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete machine setups on CNC mills and/or lathes from start to finish.
- Execute changeovers efficiently to minimize machine downtime.
- Adjust tool wear and geometry offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and process sheets.
- Load tooling, fixtures, and programs while verifying proper setup before production.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program or offset adjustments.
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Proven ability to perform full machine setups independently.
- Experience with changeovers, tool offsets
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Proficient with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Experience machining tight-tolerance components in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
