The Assistant Front Office Manager helps run daily hotel reception operations, supervises desk staff, and resolves guest issues. Core duties involve managing check-ins, training employees, and supporting financial tasks like billing.


Compensation:

$58,000 - $59,000 yearly


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily front desk, guest services, and bell staff operations

  • Handle guest complaints and provide fast service recovery

  • Assist with staff recruitment, shift scheduling, training, and performance coaching

  • Monitor room availability, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests

  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams for smooth room turnovers

  • Act as Manager on Duty when the main Front Office Manager is absent


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of hospitality experience, or a hospitality degree

  • 1+ year in a supervisory or team lead role

  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible schedule availability to work weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts
