Team Leader
Location: Passport Headquarters, Washington, DC (on-site)
Security Clearance: Active Secret (required)
Position Type: Full-time
Position Summary
The Team Leader leads and manages teams of Records Support Associates and other support staff in a high-volume production environment at Passport Headquarters. This key supervisory role ensures smooth daily operations, workload balancing, high-quality performance, and full compliance with procedures and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate daily activities including mail open, cashier functions, image capture, image review, data entry, quality control, and PRISM operations.
  • Set work priorities and ensure smooth transition of work between teams.
  • Monitor workload and recommend staff assignments to accommodate fluctuating demands.
  • Provide regular operational feedback, status updates, attendance reporting, and production activity reporting.
  • Ensure staff adherence to performance standards, established procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist in training contract personnel and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and primary liaison with onsite Government management.
  • Act as Acting Deputy Program Support Manager when required (up to two weeks).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or 4 years of team management experience.
  • Six (6) years of general office experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Four (4) years utilizing MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and proven ability to lead, manage, assign, delegate, and organize team workflow.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply regulatory material and internal controls.
