Full Time Material Handler Needed (New Hope)

Company in New Hope, MN is looking for warehouse workers. We distribute lawn & garden products, decorative shelving, staircase & railing systems to independent retailers, throughout the United States. We need someone to handle all movement of products at our fast-paced warehouse.
Responsibilities for Material Handler
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and packing areas
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, and packing them
- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move freight
- Assist with cycle counts
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications for Material Handler
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
- Certification to ride forklift truck preferred
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Ability to read, write, and to follow instructions, and work independently
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
- Hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm
