Ideal Background
• 2–8 years of insurance defense, civil litigation, or commercial litigation experience
• Experience representing insurance carriers, insureds, businesses, or individuals in complex litigation matters
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Experience with premises liability, construction defect, transportation, professional liability, product liability, personal injury, or other insurance-related litigation matters preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while working directly with clients
• Experience appearing in state and federal courts preferred
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Florida bar admission preferred or ability to become admitted
