Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage strategic procurement, supplier sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance within the aerospace and defense industry.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- Identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers.
\n
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and terms.
\n
- Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships.
\n
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and compliance.
\n
- Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
- Travel to Scotland quarterly for business purposes.
\n

Requirements:
\n
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
\n
- 6+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.
\n
- Strong sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation skills.
\n
- Experience with MRP systems and procurement processes.
\n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
- Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing procurement experience preferred.
