Job Description
This role involves setting up and operating a press brake to form metal components according to production specifications. You will use your hands-on experience to ensure accurate bends, maintain quality standards, and support efficient production flow in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a press brake to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to job orders and blueprints.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and back gauges to achieve precise dimensions and angles.
- Monitor press brake operations to ensure consistent quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the press brake and related equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the press brake and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and priorities.
- Report any equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 12 years of experience operating a press brake.
- Proficiency in brake press operation, including setup and adjustment.
- Ability to read and follow job instructions and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a non-climate-controlled, open-air production environment.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment
The role is based in an open-air, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where you will work around production equipment and materials. The position follows a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can expect a hands-on, shop-floor environment that may involve standing for extended periods, handling metal components, and working near machinery. Dress is practical and safety-focused, appropriate for an industrial production setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
