This company has an in-house team of architects, engineers, interior designers, and construction managers who know their roles and come together as a team to complete every high-quality project. They are seeking a skilled Project Architect to join their St. Louis team.

Job Summary:

The Project Architect is responsible for overseeing architectural services across various project phases, encompassing project types such as Hotels, High Rise, Multi-Family, and Senior Living. They collaborate with the Project Architect, ensuring project schedules and design integrity are maintained, while actively participating in construction administration tasks, quality control, and project coordination. Additionally, they evaluate innovative products, energy-efficient solutions, cost-saving measures, and departmental process improvements to enhance project efficiency across diverse project types.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Licensed or Licensure track (preferred)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school of architecture
  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation.
  • Skilled in leadership, organization, business writing, and communication skills.
  • Mastery of architectural and engineering designs, concepts and terminology including relevant building codes and standards.
  • Excellent REVIT and AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Proficiency with all aspects of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Sketch-up, Photoshop, or other 3D visualization software (preferred)
  • Knowledge of building codes, energy analysis and rebates, and jurisdictional processes. Technically fluent with general experience in applying to normal project conditions.

You Will:

  • Provide services in all phases of the architecture including site planning, building design and detailing, design documentation, and construction administration.
  • Will work independently on new and renovation projects and on large projects will work directly with Project Architect.
  • Maintain the project schedule by ensuring the timely preparation of deliverables on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Participate in project team coordination for incorporating design intent in to the construction documentation, specifications, and during construction administration.
  • Help with all aspects of the construction administration of projects, including review of shop drawings and submittals, quality control, requests for information and site visits.
  • Facilitate coordination with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specifications, and regulatory agencies under general supervision to meet overall project objectives.
  • Maintain close collaboration with design team, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Help to evaluate new products and systems, energy savings strategies, cost saving initiatives and other process efficiency within the department.
