As a Senior Project Coordinator you will be involved in the life cycle management, financial management and close out of multiple projects to ensure completion to customer requirements within set deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of the branch’s projects, including production, invoicing, budget, and client relations; to ensure compliance with the project contracts
- Develops and communicates scheduling needs, manages change orders, project procedures, and equipment resources needed to complete accurate and timely project production
- Engages with all relevant stakeholders proactively, including business partners, general contractors, customers and regulatory bodies that will have influence over project success
- Coordinates with operations team to identify project risk and negotiate change orders with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project production
- Monitors project status and provides daily project reports and monthly branch billing reports to branch leadership team
- Supports and promotes project safety by ensuring compliance with project safety programs and required owner safety policies
- Negotiates dispute and provides resolutions with the relevant stakeholders
- Ensures accurate paperwork is maintained for each project and that all supporting documentation is compiled, stored and readily available for inspection or query
- Leads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, timely invoicing of projects, obtaining retainages, and working with management to resolve any project claims. Leads project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion
- Assists with project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements
- Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
- Participates in work-in-progress meetings and prepares specific information regarding the status of all costs and schedules for projects
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in a construction project management/coordination role
- Proficient in MS Office 365 products, internet, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret jobsite drawings, blueprints, and maps
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages and discounts
- Valid CA Driver License and good driving record
